Michael Kors Fights Global Hunger This World Food Day
In honor of World Food Day on October 16, 2014, Michael Kors launched a series of initiatives to help raise money and awareness for Kors’ philanthropic partner, the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP).
All throughout the month of October we took the time to make a difference. We launched a new limited-edition 100 Series watch, gave away Watch Hunger Stop T-shirts, challenged our fans to post a selfless selfie in the tee on social media, appeared on CNN to discuss the on-going problem of world hunger, worked with National Geographic on a film featuring our partner, Halle Berry, on a field visit, launched a Watch Hunger Stop Sweepstakes and allowed our customers to make in-store donations. All the funds raised will help support WFP’s School Meals program.
