TOAST the SEASON

From spirited dinner parties to New Year’s festivities, the holidays are as much about entertaining as they are about celebrating. And if you’re hoping to impress, you’d be wise to take guidance from NYC mixologist Joe Campanale, who co-owns four of Manhattan’s hottest restaurants. To help make your next soireé a night to remember, we teamed up with Campanale and the food and drink digital bible Tasting Table to bring you a series of unique cocktail recipes, inspired by our JetMaster watch, that are guaranteed to get your guests into the holiday spirit.
“Punch is great because you can prepare it ahead of time, so when your friends arrive, you don’t have to worry about mixing drinks,” Campanale says of his festive punch made with a sugar-and-spice mix of apple brandy, sherry and ginger beer.
6 tablespoons of sugar
½ cup Laird’s Apple Brandy
½ cup fino sherry
½ cup apple cider
1 cup ginger beer (preferably Fever Tree)
¼ cup soda water
A modern take on the beloved Paloma cocktail, this sophisticated grapefruit-infused drink subs in vodka for tequila and finishes with on-trend Aperol.
1 slice of grapefruit
1½ ounce vodka
½ ounce St. Germain
½ ounce Aperol
1 ounce fresh grapefruit juice
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass, add ice, and shake hard. To serve, strain the mixture into a rocks glass over ice and garnish with a grapefruit slice.
