Michael Kors and a host of A-listers celebrated the launch of the Michael Kors Access smartwatch on Sunday night at a party that was equal parts chic and high-tech. The Fashion Week fête took place in Michael Kors’ three-story Soho store, where guests were greeted with an expansive interactive video screen showcasing the New York City skyscape and the many digital dials of the new smartwatch.
The Michael Kors Access campaign faces, Martha Hunt and Zendaya, were the stars of the night, clad in show-stopping looks from Michael Kors Collection. Other Michael Kors favorites, including Nina Agdal and Soo Joo Park, made similarly spectacular entrances, partying alongside a host of front row regulars like Hanneli Mustaparta and Cami Morrone. Harley Viera-Newton set the mood for the evening as the party’s DJ with a host of pop hits. In between champagne, guests stopped to take GIF-style selfies in a Michael Kors Access-themed photo booth and posed for snaps with Kristina Bazan, who gave fans a peek at all the action by taking over Michael Kors’ Snapchat for the night.
